Walk the Talk: Ellyne Lamin

Ellynita Lamin looks small but having a bold heart for the people sums it all. Ellyne was a cancer survivor and had battles with eye surgeries after surgeries. It could be these surgeries that made her ‘colour’ blind when lending her hand to others and yet see deep into their hearts. Her moment of truth came when she was in Aceh to provide assistance after the devastating tsunami. Ever did she know, she landed herself in a body evacuation exercise, to remove corpses lying around the vast land of Aceh. Yet, she did it and more to that, she even helped trained a few youths in crafts in the hope they start their own craft business when they returned to Aceh.
