Diabetes 101: Uncoat the Sugar – The Treatment

Diabetes is a chronic disease that has no cure. Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin, a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches, and other food into energy needed for daily life.

In episode 3 of Diabetes 101: Uncoat the Sugar we will focus on the mainstream treatment regiment to control the disease. We also explore the side effects inherent with manufactured drugs.

Dr Lee practices a new field of medicine, called integrated medication where he combines conventional western medical philosophy with complementary methods such as herbal treatment, diet changes, life style, alternative medicine & nutritional therapy. He has been practicing holistic medical treatment for the past 10 years since he graduated from medical school.

Currently, he is taking “Family Medicine” under the conjoint programs of MAFP/ FRACGP with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is actively in research for his post graduate membership. He is also a member of Academy of Family physicians of Malaysia.
