The alarming increase in the number of youths involved with social problems will invariably effect the country’s development. Very interestingly Dr. Peter elaborates on why the youth are so vulnerable to social problems and the importance of reviving the family institution. Dr. Peter discloses relevant data related to the social problems in Malaysia and why society
and the government of the day must take greater efforts in combating these evils. The state of Sabah requires well trained counselors to deal with specific social problems and in addition the state government must take greater efforts in providing the necessary facilities.
