Take Charge: Personal Safety Awareness

Nell speak to Michael Chong, a Preparedness Consultant who will be conducting Take Charge!, a Personal Safety Awareness  and Action programme.

These are the times where we are vulnerable to external dangers such as house break-ins, car thefts, muggings, physical violence, rape and even murder. However, in the case of your spouses, daughters and expatriates’ wives who predominantly comprise of young ladies, they could be exposed to such dangers even while they are carrying out their daily errands i.e. marketing, shopping, etc. meeting all sorts of “untoward” characters which may lead to a situational hazard, personal harassment and at times to an extent, life threatening.

snatch thief warning2While the laws/regulations are in the process of being amended to give the innocent better protection, let us do our very best to arm the participants to create better awareness to become more knowledgeable and street wise.

You will learn how to use common devices for personal protection, maintain proper security at home, how to handle vehicle safety, how to physically defend yourself as a last resort as well as how to revive a loved one’s Life in some cases with simple yet effective life saving skills in different scenarios.

This program provides important insights to continually improve a person’s safety knowledge and survival skills, to be adequately prepared for the unexpected.
