Clarity Is The Way Forward

clarityDo you know the feeling, just before your birthday, when everyone asks you what you’d like to have, but you go blank and absolutely can’t think of anything? But you would’ve known a couple of months prior to your birthday? Then, the day comes along and you get some presents that aren’t really a thing that you need.

I know that feeling. It happens every single year. And I finally figured out that the reason for it is my lack of clarity to what I want. Not only does this apply to birthdays, but also to life in general.

To have clarity means that your body, mind and soul are in alignment. It is when everything is done with purpose and control, when stress can be pushed aside, and situations can be looked at from different perspectives. This is when you can truly make decisions, based on your wants, so that they evolve in the best way possible.

Why is it so important to know what you want?

When you know exactly what it is you want, whether big or small, you have something to work towards, a goal. This gives you a sense of purpose and allows you to follow that path, and eventually achieve that.

However, when you do not know what you want, it may seem that life is purposeless and you are merely tagging along, for no clear reason. Also, it may be more difficult to know who you are and want to be, and what it is to make you truly happy.

Think about all the kinds of exercises and healing modalities there are: visualisation, meditation, tapping (EFT), affirmations, and so on. All of them rely on knowing what it is you want, or at least, having clarity, so that you can use these ways to get it.

In order to gain clarity, you need to relax and release stress and tension, by doing something you enjoy, like laying by the pool. Meditation is also an excellent way to clear your head and relax, and so is Yoga.

Something I love to do, is making a VisionBoard, by cutting out pictures/drawing/writing everything I would want to have on a big sheet of paper. By the end, I feel clearer on what it is that I want, or maybe even don’t want. And you don’t have to feel bad for anything you put on there, you are free to want anything.

These are some ways you can find clarity – if you want to know any more ways, comment below :)

Have a clear day,
